A group originally formed as a peace vigil opposing the Wars. 52nd/Wadsworth - we demonstrate every Saturday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and are open to anyone. We ask that you practice non-violence and non-confrontational behavior (except for signage). As our presence grew stronger our extended peace vigil family moved to different parts of the city --- 1st and University in Denver -- (Cherry Creek Peace Vigil) -- and W. Colfax Avenue and Denver West for the Women In Black. In December, two other groups began to form -- North Metro Peace Vigil located at W. 92nd Avenue and Sheridan -- and a Time for Peace at 50th and Lowell.
