My Story: Raised in Park Hill by activist Democrats, I'm a progressive of the first water (rather mellowed from my more radical youth). Life complications, a full-time academic appointment and young children sidelined me about 6 years back, but I'm getting ready to reenter the fray. My biggest concern is the neo-liberal focus on social issues divorced from their economic conditions; when we forget that the color of evrything in this society is green, we have already lost.
